The Story of Rhino

Growing up with a very limited cable package, I was blessed by Ted Turner. TBS was my main exposure to baseball and I have been in love with the Braves ever since. I follow them religiously and plan on naming my first three children Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz, regardless of gender. Whether it’s the racist ramblings or postseason meltdown of a closer or consecutive Cy Youngs, I can’t get enough.

I try to get as much baseball as I can and I love reading various articles by Rob Neyer, Jerry Crasnick, Jayson Stark, etc. I also love the Baseball Today, CBS Sports Fantasy Baseball, and Fantasy Focus podcasts.

Fantasy Baseball has been my biggest past-time since my hometown friends and I created our first league as a way of keeping in touch while we all attended various colleges and universities. I still play avidly even at the expense of other hobbies, my job, and overall physical well-being.

I started this blog as a way to share all my thoughts and feelings on all things baseball whether that be fantasy, analysis, or otherwise.

p.s. A special thanks to my mother for not purchasing a full TV cable package when I was a child and subjecting me to all the other franchises in major league baseball.

If you have any recommendations for an article or for the site in general, please let me know. I appreciate your support!
